The Devil's Flu...

Has wrecked havoc in our house.

For literally one week, one of the three of us was either running a significant fever or throwing up.  (or dealing with another unmentionable symptom)

For this reason, I (Nurse Sary, as I shall now be called) am significantly behind in general correspondence and blogging and really everything. Lemme try and fix that.

Adam naked in a tub. He likes a good bath, but mostly he likes posing for pictures.

Jeff and I celebrated Valentine's Day on Saturday. He got me an Edible Arrangement, which I've always yearned for.

Unfortunately, I was fighting the Devil's Flu that day. You picked a real winner, Mr. Carr. We were supposed to go to Benihana that night, which is another one of my heart's yearnings. Well, I was too gross.

While I was lying in bed, Jeff brought this to me. "Look! It's your favorite things!" He's right. I love bottled water, fruit roll ups and lately I keep buying myself heart shaped boxes of chocolates. It's plain weird and kind of narcissistic. (Not pictured: Pepto Bismol.)

Right after the Devil's Flu left our house, Zach and Emily came for a surprise visit. I was able to keep it a secret from Jeff, which is astonishing. This is the only photo documenting their trip. All it shows is Zach's love for the All-Star game, Adam's cuteness, and Emily's rude manners. (Hee hee.) We had a great time and sure love us some Batemans.

Adam is nine months old now. He's 15 pounds, which is underwhelming. But at least he's more portable. He crawls in his own messed-up way, says a variety of made-up words and still has no teeth. Long story short, he's the best.

I love that last picture of Adam! It makes me want to eat him :) Edible arrangements are a curse. Last year I made a sugar cookie arrangement for Ryan and surprised him with it at work...let's just say it could have gone better.
